Thank you for purchasing from Mantas Cornejo.

Mantas Cornejo wool products are created to be enjoyed for years when properly cared for. Wool is naturally stain-, odour- and wrinkle-resistant, so it requires very little maintenance.

HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR MERINO WOOL BLANKET

To keep your Merino wool blanket or throw fresh and beautiful, air it outdoors from time to time, preferably in a dry and shaded place. This allows the natural fibres to breathe and helps refresh the blanket without unnecessary washing.

HOW TO WASH A MERINO WOOL BLANKET

Merino wool is a delicate natural fibre and should be washed gently and only when necessary. We recommend hand washing your Mantas Cornejo blanket in cold or lukewarm water, at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. Use a mild detergent suitable for wool and avoid rubbing, wringing or twisting the blanket, as this can damage the delicate fibres and affect its shape.

Can you wash a Merino wool blanket in a washing machine? We recommend hand washing rather than machine washing to protect the natural fibres and preserve the softness, shape and quality of the blanket. If you choose to use a washing machine, always check the specific care label of your blanket first and use a gentle wool cycle at a maximum of 30ºC.

HOW TO DRY A MERINO WOOL BLANKET

After washing, gently remove excess water without wringing or twisting. Lay the blanket flat on a clean, dry surface and allow it to air dry naturally. Do not tumble dry or hang the blanket while wet, as its weight may cause it to stretch or lose its shape.

Once completely dry, the blanket can be softly ironed at a low temperature if necessary.

With the right care, Merino wool can remain soft, beautiful and comfortable for many years.

Enjoy your blanket!
